Team Computer Ratings for the 2013 Lacrosse World Cup

Many of the games at the 2013 Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) Women's World Cup, which is taking place in Oshawa, Ontario and ends on Saturday, have involved pool play. As such, it can be difficult to see how teams below the top pool stack up.

Below are computer ratings for the 19-team field based on results through Thursday, July 18th. The usual "10-goal limit" is applied, so the differences between top and bottom teams are even greater than the numbers suggest.

Team USA routed England in Friday's semifinals and will meet host Canada for the championship on Saturday. Given the ratings below and the result of the teams' earlier meeting (a 13-2 win for the U.S.), it would be a major upset if the USA didn't prevail.
