Lehigh Announces Its Lacrosse Recruiting Class of 2017

Caroline Haynie A North Wales, Pa. Arts and Sciences
A two-sport star at Germantown Academy, Haynie captained both the lacrosse and field hockey teams. In lacrosse, Haynie was a First Team All-Inter-AC honoree in 2011 and 2012, and was named the Most Valuable Offensive Player in 2011. She holds the school record for assists in a season, and is among the top five leading scorers all-time at Germantown Academy with 293 career points. Haynie was also an Academic All-American and AP Scholar, earning high honors every semester.

Allison LaBeau M Geneva, Ill. Arts and Sciences
A two-sport athlete at Mountain Lakes High School, LaBeau was a three-year letterwinner in both lacrosse and soccer. In 2013, she was named First Team All-County, Second Team All-League and a New Jersey All-Star. Her high school was North-Group I Sectional Champions, and Conference and County champions. LaBeau recorded 92 career goals and added 49 assists over her stellar high school career. Off the field, she was a member of the National Honors Society, along with the Spanish Honors Society.

Emily May D/M Baltimore, Md. Arts and Sciences
A multi-sport student-athlete at Hereford High School, May participated in lacrosse, soccer, cross country and track and field. She was a four-year lacrosse starter on Hereford, which was a two-time Baltimore County Champion. May was a two-time Baltimore Metro Schoolgirls Team selection. She was named to the 2012 ESPN Top 100 Lacrosse Players Watch list and in 2013, was a Varsity Sports Network Lacrosse Player to Watch. She was also a two-time member of the US Lacrosse All-Academic Team. Off the field, May was a member of the National Honor Society, National French Language Honor Society and the National Latin Honor Society. She was the recipient of the Athletic Department Award at Hereford.

Lindsay McCanney M Sinking Spring, Pa. Business
A four year letterwinner in both lacrosse and field hockey, McCanney helped lead Wilson High School to a Berks County championship in 2010 and 2012. The senior captain earned All-County honors from 2011-13, and was named Reading Eagle Player of the Week in 2013. McCanney tallied 107 goals and 45 assists over her career. Off the field, she was a member of the National Honor Society and made the high honor roll each quarter of her high school career.

Jessica Sanyour D Summit, N.J. Business
Sanyour was a multi-sport athlete at Summit, earning 11 varsity letters as a standout in lacrosse, ice hockey and lacrosse. She received the Wheeler Award as a Summit Athlete who helped out the community. Sanyour was a captain and Second Team All-Conference performer as a senior, leading Summit to the Group 2 State Championship while also garnering the Hiltopper Award in 2013. Sanyour was a senior captain in soccer and Hilltopper Award winner in 2011. In ice hockey, she was the team's leading goal scorer in 2012 and 2013 after earning Most Improved Player in 2011. As a senior captain, she helped lead the squad to the New Jersey Public School Championship. Also strong in the classroom, Sanyour won one gold and one silver medal on the National Latin Examination. She graduated Magna Cum Laude.
