Anthony Golden Joins Mount St. Mary's Lacrosse Coaching Staff

Emmitsburg, Md. (July 25, 2013) -- The Mount St. Mary's athletic department announced the hiring of Anthony Golden as an assistant lacrosse coach for the 2013-2014 season.

Golden was a member of the Mount's men's lacrosse team from 2009-2013, playing in 58 games with 16 starts. The Loyola Blakefield graduate netted 30 goals and dished out eight assists for the Mountaineers.

In 2011, Golden helped the Mount capture the first-ever NEC men's lacrosse championship with seven goals and four assists on a team that put together a 9-6 record.

Golden recorded a career-high 11 goals the following season in 2012, when the Mount finished as the NEC runner-up.
