Ursuline Hires Olivia Cora as Assistant Lacrosse Coach

Former Ohio State lacrosse star Olivia Cora has been hired as an assistant coach by Ursuline College's head lacrosse coach Ed Karasek. Karasek's first hire since joining UC last year will help with every facet of the program, ranging from recruiting to in-game strategy.

After a standout career at Laurel School, Cora earned a scholarship to The Ohio State University. She started all 17 games as a true freshman for the Buckeyes in 2009 and went on to rack up four varsity letters before graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology in December of 2012.

While a Laurel Gator, Cora was three-sport star. A first team all-state, all-Midwest and all-MSLA tournament team selection, she was chosen for the U.S. Lacrosse national tournament.

Cora, who will be pursuing her MBA at Ursuline College, resides in South Euclid, Ohio.
