O'Shea Tabbed as Assistant Lacrosse Coach at Maritime

THROGGS NECK, N.Y. The Maritime Athletic Department welcomed Pat O'Shea, who will serve as the new co-coordinator for intramurals as well as an assistant coach with the men's lacrosse team.

"Pat will be a valued addition to the men's lacrosse coaching staff and the intramurals program here at Maritime," commented head coach Daniel Lawrence. "His great track record both as a lacrosse player and a coach is evidence to that. I know he will work hard with Coach Hinch to get the intramural program moving in the right direction."

O'Shea comes to Maritime after spending the past two seasons at St. John the Baptist High School in West Islip, N.Y., as the head junior varsity coach in 2012 and as an assistant with the varsity squad in 2013, helping lead the Cougars to the Class "AA" Catholic Championship this past season.

At NCC, he helped lead the team to a regional championship and earn a berth to the JUCO National Championship Tournament.
