Michael Horowitz Added to the Pfeiffer Lacrosse Coaching Staff

MISENHEIMER, N.C. Pfeiffer University head lacrosse coach Jason Lange has added Michael Horowitz to the coaching staff. Horowitz, who will serve as the team's assistant coach, was the defensive assistant coach at Fairleigh Dickinson University for the previous two seasons.

During his short time at FDU, Horowitz coached one goalie, and two defensemen, to All-Conference accolades. In his first season, Horowitz helped guide the team to an 8-8 record, including a 6-1 mark at home. While a member of the Devils' coaching staff, Horowitz earned his Master's Degree in Corporate and Organizational Communications.

Horowitz played collegiately at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pa. He was a starting goalie for three years and was an All-Centennial Conference selection both as a junior and a senior. Horowitz holds the record for saves in a game with 26 and is fourth all-time in career saves.

Horowitz is a native of Randolph, N.J. and joins a program that went 13-4 in 2012, including a 5-1 conference mark.
