Curtis Gilbert Named Berry's New Head Lacrosse Coach

"I would formally like to thank everyone at Berry College for this opportunity," said Gilbert. "With my experiences as a student-athlete, an assistant coach, and a head coach in the NCAA Division III and the liberal arts setting, I couldn't be more excited. I look forward to leading the first graduating men's lacrosse class at Berry College into unchartered territory."

Gilbert becomes the second men's lacrosse coach at Berry College. He replaced Chris Delfausse, who started the program in 2010. In his tenure, his teams compiled a 24-23 record.

"Having met with the upperclassmen, it's obvious that Coach Delfausse did an exceptional job in recruiting men of character and strong moral integrity. He laid the foundation for what is expected of a Berry College student-athlete and I would like to thank him for his efforts."
