LaxPower's George Baldassare Among Conn. HOF Honorees

This year's honorees for the Connecticut Hall of Fame include's George Baldassare. The induction ceremony will take place on Saturday, November 16th in Milford, Conn.

George Baldassare is currently Director of HS Boys' Lacrosse at LaxPower, Executive Secretary of the Connecticut High School Lacrosse Coaches Association, and formerly a longtime assistant coach and Daniel Hand HS in Madison. He has also served on the staff of World Championship USA U-19 teams in 2003 and 2008.

Zach Colburn is a member of the Philadelphia and National HOF and played at Choate and Penn plus on multiple World Teams and in the MLL.

Sandy MacMullen is the longtime coach at Hopkins School in New Haven and played collegiately at Yale.

Deb Martin is the Ivy League women's official coordinator/assignor.

Dr. Carl Nissen, M.D. is a pioneer in concussion research and developing baseline testing protocols and the Director of Elite Sports Medicine at Connecticut Children's Medical Center.

Joseph Oliva is the former President and longtime Chief Assignor for the Connecticut Lacrosse Officials Association.

Chris Smalkais, an Ontario native, is currently the head coach at Fairfield Prep High School with over 300 career wins and multiple state championships.
