Dartmouth Set to Add Nine to Lacrosse Team Roster for 2014

HANOVER, N.H. Head coach Amy Patton will have a wealth of new faces in the Dartmouth women's lacrosse program for the 2014 season. In addition to new assistant coaches Tracy Coyne and Jessica Drummond, Patton has announced the nine student-athletes who will make up the Class of 2017 set to make their debut with the program this spring.

Linda Attanasio, Taryn Deck, Kelly Dolan, Francesca Gundrum, Blake Hamblett, Kristen Hinckley, Lauren Maiorano, Julia Reiley and Courtney Weisse comprise the Big Green freshmen that will join a program that has been to the NCAA Tournament the last three seasons.

"We are excited about the caliber of student-athletes in this class both from a leadership and athletic perspective," Patton said. "This group of talented young women will immediately raise the level of our practices and we are excited to see how they will grow within our program over their four years here.

"Their pedigree is one of winning during their high school careers and we look forward to bringing those experiences to our program and the championship goals we have each season," Patton continued.

Dartmouth advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament last season and was once again a finalist in the Ivy League Tournament. With the graduation of seven players from that team, fans can expect this talented freshman class to step up and make an impact in 2014.
