SMCM Helps UCD in Dublin Cup; Footscray Triumphs in Australia

Several St. Mary's College of Maryland lacrosse players who are studying abroad this semester in Dublin, Ireland joined forces with the members of the University College of Dublin (UCD) club lacrosse team.

The "foreign aid" came from five juniors: midfielder Will Lerch (Lothian, Md./Calverton School), midfielder Matt Tarrant (Mount Airy, Md./Urbana), longstick midfielder Collin Brown (Wernersville, Pa./Wilson Area), midfielder Tim Perugini (Stony Brook, N.Y./Ward Melville), and attackman Eric Simon (North Potomac, Md./Quince Orchard).

UCD participated in a round-robin tournament last Saturday at Kirwan Park and claimed the Dublin Cup over the University of Nottingham, the Dublin Bay Prawns, and the Dublin Avengers.
