Elizabethtown, Trinity, Shenandoah Name New Asst. Coaches

Wenzel helped the Red Dragons to the 2009 NCAA Division III national championship (won with a 9-7 victory over Gettysburg) by playing in 10 games that season as a long-stick defenseman.

In his senior season, Wenzel played in 17 games as Cortland made and appearance in the national semifinals.

At OCC, he was a member of the 2007 NJCAA national championship squad.

"I am very happy to have Kyle join us here at Shenandoah," Marshall said. "He has played at the highest level of Division III lacrosse and knows what it takes to build a successful program.

"I have been impressed with his desire to be a college coach and have no doubt that he is going to be a valuable addition to our program."

Shenandoah opens its 2014 season, its first since Marshall took the helm of the program in August, in mid-February.
