Recruit Listings for the 2014-15 and 2015-16 Academic Years

The early signing period this fall for the National Letter of Intent (NLI) runs from November 13 through November 22. The NLI applies only to Division I and II schools that offer athletically-related aid, and some of those institutions do not.

LaxPower's databases have the information we've received or gathered for where men's and women's recruits – both apparent early commitments and others – will be headed for the 2014-2015 academic year. The lists currently have roughly 1,400 men's and 1,200 women's players and will grow fairly rapidly and steadily over the next six months.

Simply click on the Recruits link that can be found via the main Men, Women, Boys, or Girls navigation buttons. Listings for many prior years remain available as well.

There is another link to the Recruits page in the right-hand column on the home page. That section also contains links to signing announcements (2013-2014 for now, but changing to 2014-2015 once press releases for that class begin to arrive in sufficient numbers).

The Recruits page has more information about the databases, FAQs for searching, and links to the form for submitting new names, updates, and corrections. A statistical summary tool for doing frequency distributions and cross-tabulations as well as a recruiting guide and links to the NCAA and NLI web sites can also be found there.

Note: Verbal commitments for 2015-2016 (i.e., current juniors) can be submitted as well. Those lists are also posted, with almost 400 men's and 400 women's players already included.

Other Notes
  • As always, the listings are unofficial. We update them whenever more accurate information is available and are happy to receive corrections and new submissions.

  • Bear in mind that it is still early in the recruiting season, and some of the players listed could well decide to attend a school other than the one listed. The databases will be updated as new information arrives. If you have information to add or correct, please let us know.

  • Just because recruits are listed for a school does not mean that the school's list is complete, even for the fall NLI period. The regular NLI signing period for the spring begins on April 16 and continues until August 1.

  • Names are sometimes submitted before the school has made a formal admissions decision.

  • Information for the listings comes, in no particular order, from college and high school coaches, players, parents and friends, media outlets, club web sites, and press releases.
