Carly DeVito Named Assistant Lacrosse Coach at Manhattan

RIVERDALE, N.Y. First-year women's lacrosse head coach Elizabeth Weber announced the hiring of Carly DeVito as an assistant coach for the upcoming season.

"We are excited to welcome Carly to the Jasper family," said Weber. "She brings a wealth of knowledge to our program as we look forward to the spring season."

DeVito comes to Riverdale after a strong coaching career with the New Jersey Junior Girls Lacrosse League. A certified triathlon coach and personal trainer, she has spent the last year helping athletes at all levels become more prepared for their season by implementing personal exercise and nutritional programs.

A 2012 graduate of Drew University, DeVito played two years with the Rangers, helping to lead the team into the 2010 Division III NCAA Tournament. While a student-athlete, she also coached within the Madison Township Recreation Department and competed in multiple triathlons and Ironman competitions.

Manhattan will begin their 2014 season when host Rutgers University at 1:00 p.m. on Sat., Feb. 15 at Gaelic Park.
