RIT to Play Two Games This Spring at the Carrier Dome

ROCHESTER, NY RIT will play two games at the Carrier Dome on the campus of Syracuse University during the 2014 season versus Stevenson University and SUNY Cortland.

"We are very excited to play at the Carrier Dome against two great teams," said RIT head coach Jake Coon. "It is also an excellent opportunity to play in a big time environment that has hosted some of the greats in the lacrosse world."

The Tigers will open the 2014 season versus Stevenson University in a rematch of the 2013 NCAA Division III National Championship Game on Saturday Feb. 22 in a triple-header with Syracuse playing Maryland, and Cornell facing Hobart. RIT will also face SUNY Cortland in a rematch of last year's National Semifinal on Wednesday, March 12 at 7:00 p.m.

RIT finished 2013 with a 19-3 record, winning it's second straight Liberty League title and fourth consecutive league championship overall. The Tigers advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the fourth straight year and 15th time overall, making their first appearance in the national title game, losing to Stevenson 16-10 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pa.
