Virginia Signs 10 to National Letters of Intent for 2014-2015

Falk is a 6-foot, 185-pound midfielder from Washington D.C. He is No. 18 on Inside Lacrosse's list of 2013 Top 50 Young Gun Senior Rankings and also was an Under Armour All-Star. The Landon School lacrosse star attends the same high school as former UVa All-Americans Ryan Curtis, Peter Lamade, Matt Ward and current UVa defenseman Michael Rhoads was a teammate of Falk's when their squad won the the 2012 IAC championship. Falk also plays football at Landon and is currently a captain on its 2013 team.

Fersen is a 6-foot-4, 190-pound defenseman from Dorset, Vermont. A 2012 and 2013 Under Armour All-Star, Fersen has covered the opponent's top attackman since his freshman season in 2011 when he piled up 53 ground balls and dished out three assists. He also plays hockey for the Berkshire School.

Harris is a 6-foot, 190-pound midfielder from Fairfax, Va. Harris was a 2013 Under Armour All-Star from Oakton High School. He is a defensive back and running back on the football team and a team captain this fall. He also plays basketball.

Hooper is a 6-foot, 180-pound defenseman from Wakefield, R.I. The Under Armour All-Star is the first player at The Hotchkiss School (Conn.) to ever be named a team captain as a junior. Hooper, who also plays hockey at Hotchkiss, is No. 32 on Inside Lacrosse's list of 2013 Top 50 Young Gun Senior Rankings.

Railey is a 6-foot-2, 175-pound goalie from Chevy Case, Md. The second team all-state honoree, along with fellow UVa signee Townsend Brown, helped Georgetown Prep to the 2013 IAC regular season championship. Railey also plays basketball and soccer at Georgetown Prep.

Sipperly is a 6-foot, 190-pound midfielder from Falmouth, Maine. Sipperly scored 20 goals and dished out 15 assists as a junior at the Taft School in Watertown, Conn., also picking up 20 ground balls. As a sophomore at Falmouth High School, Sipperly scored 43 goals. His father, Bill, was an All-American lacrosse player at Hobart College and was on two NCAA DIII national championship teams. His uncle, Robert Sipperly, played lacrosse at Hobart with current UVa associate head coach Marc Van Arsdale. Sipperly's cousins Derek (Army), Trevor (Notre Dame) and Dan (currently at Bryant) all played college lacrosse.

Additional members to the recruiting class for the class of 2018 may be added in the spring.
