Fresno State Signs Six for the 2014 Lacrosse Recruiting Class

FRESNO, Calif. -- Fresno State head lacrosse coach Jessica Pausewang announced on Monday afternoon that six student-athletes signed National Letters of Intent in the early signing period. Natalie Chaffin, Logan Eisinger, Eliana Galindo, Sydney Masaki, Nicole Ortlieb, and Madison Steele will all be joining the Bulldogs for the 2014-15 season.

The 2014 recruiting class includes one goalkeeper, one attacker, two midfielders and two defenders. The new talent features four players from California, one from Florida as well as one player from Maryland.

"Natalie is a goalkeeper that comes up with monumental saves and we are looking forward to having her involved on our defense," Pausewang said. "She is a smart goalkeeper who will test our attacker's abilities and make their shooting more precise when we face opponents."

"Logan comes from a fantastic high school program in Florida," Pausewang said. "Her style of play is aggressive and will bring an explosive element to our defense. Logan has the ability to challenge our attackers every day in practice and make our team overall stronger."
