HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. - Centenary College was selected to finish second in the Colonial States Athletic Conference preseason coaches' poll released by the league on Friday.

The Cyclones garnered 28 points during the voting, eight behind Cabrini, which earned six of seven first-place votes. The Cavaliers are the 13-time defending conference champions.

Under the guidance of 10th-year head coach Matt Klank, Centenary enjoyed one of the finest seasons in its history in 2013, as the Cyclones won a school-record 14 games and advanced to the CSAC championship game for the first time. Seven Cyclones gained all-conference honors, helping lead the squad to its first ECAC Tournament berth since 2003.

Gwynedd Mercy amassed one first-place tally and 26 total points for third, while Marywood earned 24 points, taking fourth. Immaculata (14), Neumann (13) and Rosemont (6) closed out the poll.

Centenary opens its season February 26 with a non-conference game at Alvernia beginning at 7:00 pm. League play starts for the Cyclones on April 2 with a road trip to Immaculata.
