Centennial Conference 2014 Preseason Lacrosse Coaches' Poll

LANCASTER, Pa. Gettysburg College was picked for the top spot in the Centennial Conference Women's Lacrosse Preseason Coaches' Poll announced by the conference office.

Gettysburg and Franklin & Marshall College ran away with the top two positions in the preseason poll. The Bullets earned seven first-place votes and 70 points total, while the Diplomats tallied the remaining three first-place nods and 67 total points.

Washington College (54 points), Haverford College (50), and Dickinson College (44) rounded out the coaches' picks for the top five this season.

Gettysburg captured its second consecutive conference title and record eighth overall with a 14-11 victory over Franklin & Marshall in the tournament championship game last spring.

The Bullets kick off the 2014 campaign at No. 19 Stevenson University on Wednesday, Feb. 19, at 4:00 p.m.
