Eastwood, Rowe Lead Stony Brook Past Lafayette

STONY BROOK, N.Y. - Sophomore Brody Eastwood (Victoria, British Columbia) scored six goals and freshman Kyle Rowe (Vienna, Va.) won 18 of 21 draws to lead Stony Brook to an 18-10 win over Lafayette Tuesday at Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium.

Eastwood registered four of his six goals in the second half for the Seawolves (1-1), who won their second straight over the Leopards. Eastwood has 10 goals in two games and 54 in 18 career contests.

Rowe, who was named America East Rookie of the Week after winning 17 of 23 draws against Marist, dominated again. Rowe added his first collegiate goal with 2:57 left in the second quarter that capped a 5-0 spurt for Stony Brook.

Sophomore Jake Sichenzia (Sayville, N.Y.) tied a career-high with three goals, and with a first-quarter assist set a career-high with four points.

Sophomore Challen Rogers (Coquitlam, British Columbia) tallied five points (2g, 3a) for a second straight game. Sophomore Matt Schultz (Smithtown, N.Y.) totaled a career-best three assists.

Lafayette (0-1) was led by Brian Bock's three goals.
