Lady Hawks Shut out at Lindenwood

St. Charles, Mo.--The Lady Hawks closed out their St. Louis roadtrip with a stop at Lindenwood, where they were handed a 20-0 loss. The loss drops Shorter to 2-3 on the season.

The Lions offense proved too much for the Lady Hawks to handle, as they were outshot 47-4. Shorter's goalies, Taylor Moody and Catherine MItchner, however, did tally 20 saves on the day; Moody with 19 and Mitchner with one.

Turnovers were costly for the Lady Hawks, as well as, the lack of groundball pick-ups; Lindenwood scooped up 40, while Shorter totaled 12.

The Lady Hawks will be back in action March 3 and 5, as they travel to Colorado to take on Adams State University and Fort Lewis College.
