Mandee's Minute
“We were slow to start today and we had some midfield turnovers that we need to eliminate in the future, but I thought we responded well. Defensively, Caroline Fitzgerald just played extremely well and I'm really impressed with her play. We had Krista (Grabher) and Taylor (Bresnahan) in a face guard, and I thought they did a phenomenal job. Any time you can hold a team like Stony Brook to just one goal, that's quite an accomplishment because they are an excellent team. Cara (Canington) did an amazing job in the goal cage. Offensively, I thought Shannon had another amazing game and Mollie (Stevens) came in off the bench and did exactly what we needed her to do. Sam (Darcangelo) and Nora (Barry) ran the midfield the entire game, they also did exactly what we needed them to do.”

Florida will continue its two-game road swing on Tuesday, March 4 at 1:00 p.m. when they face No. 7/5 Loyola.
