Midwest Select Top 20 Players, Top 10 Schools of the Midwest

10. Cranbrook High School, Bloomfield Hills, MI
As he enters his 3rd year as head coach at Cranbrook, Mat Wilson will certainly continue to promote his team, which has seen great progress under his leadership. Last season, they went 17-6 and won the Division 2 state championship. This year, they will also compete in the North American League Invitational, which features other Midwest powerhouses such as Culver and Brother Rice. Cranbrook is astrong all over the field. Their midfield is led by #6 on our list, Matthew Giampetroni. Junior Michael Landgon, committed to Notre Dame, will anchor the defense. On attack, Johnny Wagner a junior headed to Marquette will look to rack up goals for the team. Even with a far more demanding schedule this year, Cranbrook should rise to the occasion and gain recognition in the Midwest.
