Reisman's FOs Lead No. 4 Limestone to Rout of Tusculum

GAFFNEY, S.C. - Senior attack Todd Nakasuji (Ajax, Ontario, Canada) dished out three assists and registered three goals to lead No. 4 Limestone (6-1, 0-0 CC) to a clearcut 21-2 victory over Tusculum (4-3, 0-2 SAC) on Tuesday, March 11.

Nakasuji led the way with six points for the Saints while senior midfielder Joey Rotolone (Edgewater, Md.) and junior midfielder Calyl Robinson (Annapolis, Md.) each finished with a pair of goals and an assist. Senior midfielder Joshua Williams (Davidsonville, Md.), freshman midfielder Brendan Smith (Levittown, N.Y.) and senior midfielder Jamar Peete (Baltimore, Md.) each added a pair of scores.

Sophomore attack Vinny Ricci (Port Moody, British Columbia, Canada) contributed a goal and six groundballs and freshman midfielder Kevin Reisman (West Babylon, N.Y.) made sure the Saints offense had the ball, going 15 of 19 from the center "X" and picking up an incredible 16 groundballs. Sophomore goal keeper Patrick Sheridan (Fairport, N.Y.) played 36:02 and allowed just two scores while making eight saves to improve to 6-1 on the year.

Limestone showed quickly why they are the No. 4 team in the country as they scored the first four goals before allowing a diving score by the Pioneers at the very end of the first quarter. Following that score it would be all Saints as they registered all nine goals to take a 13-1.

It would get no better for Tusculum in the second half as Limestone would score eight of the first nine goals to make it 21-2 before TC found the back of the net with 10 seconds to play for the final 18 goal margin.

Ben Boyd led the attack for the Pioneers with a goal and four groundballs while Kellen Asmundson and Darrin Wilson had a goal and two groundballs each. David Fernandes chipped in with an assist and John Perrucci suffered the loss in goal as he allowed 17 goals and made as many saves in 45 minutes of action.

Limestone is back in action when it travels to No. 4 Seton Hill in match-up of teams tied for the same spot in the national rankings. It will also be a rematch of last season's NCAA Division II Quarterfinal, won 16-13 by the Saints, when the clubs meet at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 15 in Greensburg, Pa.
