Chapman Uses 12-2 Run to Pull Away from Albion

ORANGE, Calif. Chapman outscored Albion 12-2 over the final 27½ minutes to pull away for a 23-14 victory in non-league women's lacrosse action.

Alyssa Glenn scored seven goals for the Britons, Ashley Glenn tacked on five goals and Kadie Koolwick produced two goals and an assist.

Albion trailed by as many as three in the first half. Ashley Glenn buried a free position shot late in the first half as the Britons trailed 11-10 at halftime.

Koolwick produced the goal that forged a tie at 11-11, and Alyssa Glenn's tally pushed Albion to a 12-11 lead.

Lauren Mah led Chapman's winning rally with three goals. Allie Kotny and Tessa Oliaro tacked on two each in the second half. Mah finished the night with five goals, while Gretchen Rodenberger and Kylee Moore contributed four goals and two assists each.

Albion returns to the Midwest for a March 22 contest at Loras, Iowa.
