Eight Greyhounds Score in No. 16 Loyola's Win at Bucknell

Paton completed her 25th career hat trick - and fourth of the year - at the 25-minute mark of the second half before assisting VanThof at 23:43 and sticking a fourth goal into the back of the net, assisted by Whiteford, at 21:03.

Annie Thomas followed it up by notching her career-high fifth goal at 18:59 and Whiteford recorded her first collegiate goal, assisted by Habicht, at 17:09, giving Loyola a 16-3 lead.

Bucknell closed out the game by tallying back-to-back goals to bring the final score to 16-5.

Defensively, Paton had two ground balls and a game-high three caused turnovers, while VanThof won five draw controls and Habicht had four.

Loyola will return to action on Saturday when it hosts Lehigh for Alumnae Day in the second game of a doubleheader with the Greyhounds' men's lacrosse team. The women's game is slated for 4:00 p.m.
