WALTHAM, Mass. Bentley hung tough with No. 1 Le Moyne Friday night, but the Dolphins pulled away in the fourth quarter to take a 10-6 win over the Falcons in a Northeast-10 match-up.

Bentley trailed just 6-5 going into the fourth quarter after sophomore Matt Brigham (Portsmouth, R.I./Portsmouth Abbey) netted a man-up goal with 58 seconds left in the third quarter.

Le Moyne went back up by two goals, 7-5, after senior midfielder Kam Bumpus scored his third of the night just 25 seconds into the fourth. However the remainder of the quarter belonged to Le Moyne, as they scored the final three goals and kept Bentley off the scoreboard. A goal by senior Chris Button with 8:41 to play began the 3-0 run by the Dolphins that took just under 3:30 of game time to complete, giving them a 10-6 advantage.

But the Falcons came out on fire after halftime with three goals in the opening 2:31 from Caditz, junior Cutler Dimond (Marblehead, Mass./Marblehead) and Carter to cut the deficit to just 5-4.

Le Moyne though responded with a goal from Bumpus just 25 seconds after Carter's goal, and went up 6-4 after an unassisted goal by junior Joe Corapi at the 9:58 mark. That was the last goal for nine minutes for either team until Brigham's man-up goal made it 6-5.
