Immaculata Hands Centenary CSAC Defeat

WASHINGTON, N.J. - Immaculata scored 12 times during the first half and cruised to a 19-2 Colonial States Athletic Conference victory over Centenary College at Warren Hills High School on Tuesday night.

Danielle Lopez scored three of the Mighty Macs' 12 goals during the opening half, while Shannon Neill added two goals and two assists.

Sophomore Carlie Schmitt (Stewartstown, Pa./Kennard-Dale) provided the lone goal during the first 30 minutes for the Cyclones with a free-position tally.

Sophomore Devin Sutko (Cinnaminson, N.J./Cinnaminson) tacked on Centenary's second goal early in the second half.

Sutko tallied four draw controls and two ground balls, while freshman Abby Voelkner (Denville, N.J./Morris Knolls) collected five draw controls. Sophomore Kristen Rabenstein (Spring Grove, Pa./Spring Grove) added two caused turnovers and five ground balls.

The Mighty Macs produced 31 shots and goalkeeper Nicole Behrndt made nine stops.

Centenary opens a three-game road trip Saturday at Gwynedd Mercy (12:00 pm).
