No. 14 Lourdes Blanks Northwood for 10th Straight Victory

Lourdes found the scoreboard just 24 seconds into the game on Sunday afternoon and never turned back, notching the first shutout in program history with a 22-0 victory over Northwood (Mich.) at Ottawa Hills High School to improve to 10-0 on the season.

Danny Bichsel (Westerville, Ohio/North H.S.) found the back of the cage on a pass from Andrew DiMartini (Sylvania, Ohio/Southview H.S.) and the Gray Wolves were off to the races. Lourdes scored four times in the first 4:26 of the opening quarter and eventually built a 15-0 lead at halftime.

Connor Mishler (Lambertville, Mich./Saint John's H.S.) made two saves in goal during the first half and Joe Hollinger (Maumee, Ohio/Anthony Wayne H.S.) made four second half stops as the duo split the shutout in goal.

Josh Hollinger (Maumee, Ohio/Anthony Wayne H.S.) scored five times and added an assist while DiMartini had three goals and three assists and Jared Yoshino (Toledo, Ohio/Southview H.S.) tallied two goals and four assists, giving the Gray Wolves three players with six points on the day.

Bichsel and Lucas Schwartz (Perrysburg, Ohio/Saint John's H.S.) each tallied three goals while Moeed Andrabi (Sylvania, Ohio/Southview H.S.) scored his first two career goals. Matt Olzak (Perrysburg, Ohio/Perrysburg H.S.) also tallied his first collegiate goal while Dylan Gill (Holland, Ohio/Saint Francis H.S.), Jay Fisher (Toledo, Ohio/Southview H.S.), and Tony DiMartini (Sylvania, Ohio/Saint Francis H.S.) each contributed goals as well.

Lourdes (10-0) will put its perfect record on the line Wednesday evening, traveling to Dayton, Ohio to face the University of Dayton Flyers. The opening faceoff is set for 7:00 p.m.
