Two Hartwick juniors - Jweid and Steph DiPreta (Franklin Square, NY/H. Frank Carey) traveled to San Pedro during Hartwick's J-Term and worked directly with the children from the area, teaching them the game of lacrosse.

Both teams wore t-shirts during their pre-game warm-up, with the front design created by the children of San Pedro and their signatures on the back. Hartwick team members and staff accepted donations throughout the day, which will benefit both the children of San Pedro and Beyond, an organization which will use the funds to purchase new equipment to increase and enhance their athletic opportunities.

Hartwick returns to action next Saturday, April 19 against #15 Ithaca College. Game time is slated for a 12:00 p.m. start.
