Hood Can't Solve Weather or Messiah in Falcon Shutout

FREDERICK, Md. - Hood could not solve the weather or the Messiah defense in a 19-0 final in Commonwealth Conference play.

With much of the game contested in driving rains, the Falcons jumped out to a 12-0 lead at the half.

Lauren Couch (Crownsville, Md./Old Mill) made nine saves and had five ground balls. She and Aleyna Fitz (Brunswick, Md./Brunswick) caused each two turnovers.

Lizzy Keeney had six goals and three assists for nine points in the win. She also had 10 draw controls. Shayna Delaney netted four goals and Carly Bajus had three. Madi Brunk had five caused turnovers and five ground balls. Sarah Dolan and Ellery Klineyoung split time in goal. Klineyoung had a pair of saves.

Hood wraps up the regular season at Albright on April 26.
