RIT came storming back with four straight goals, taking a 4-2 lead on Warren's second goal of the quarter at 6:33 off a feed from Lee. Braden Wallace (Oakville, Ontario/Abbey Park) made it 2-1 Saints on his goal at 8:26, and Warren tied the game at 2-2 on his first goal of the quarter at 7:59. Duprey gave the Saints a 6-5 lead early in the second quarter, scoring on St. Lawrence's first possession.

But, the Tigers offense responded with another one of its patented scoring runs, tallying four straight goals to take 9-6 lead late in the second quarter. Wisman scored off a feed from Warren at 8:23 tying the score at 6-6. Lee scored off a feed from Kiesa at 6:35 to give the Tigers a 7-6 lead, and on the very next possession, Jackson scored a fast-break goal off a feed from Brooks-Lambert giving RIT an 8-6 lead. Wisman capped off the run, giving the Tigers a three-goal cushion.

Tommy Hovey broke the RIT scoring run with his first of the game at 3:20 of the second quarter, cutting the Tigers lead to 9-7.

Warren tallied his third goal of the quarter on the hidden ball trick with 2:26 to play giving the Tigers a 10-7 halftime lead. He and Wisman worked the play perfectly, as Wisman drove as if he had the ball, confusing the Saints defense allowing Warren to slide the ball into the net. Warren and Lee each scored three first-half goals to pace the Tigers.

Lee opened the second-half scoring with his fourth goal of the game off a feed from Kiesa at 12:29 giving RIT an 11-7 lead.
