No. 8 Merrimack Scores at 0:06 to Knock off No. 1 Le Moyne

A quick response from Le Moyne drew the Dolphins even at 9-9 with 6:15 left in regulation before Kevin Kelly put Le Moyne ahead by a goal with 4:13 left. But the Warriors, who had not win in Syracuse since coincidentally enough an NE-10 Semifinal victory back in 2011, kept calm and turned to Guilbert again, who wrapped up his own hat trick effort with the game-tying tally with 2:16 to play.

Le Moyne, however, would win the ensuing faceoff and burn a timeout to set up an offensive play. The Warrior defense held strong and forced a turnover late in regulation, setting up the game-winning sequence.

Following a Merrimack timeout, senior Mike Perdie (Wading River, N.Y.) found Schwarz open, and the rookie sensation tickled the twine with six seconds left to send the Navy and Gold to their first conference title game since 2012 and 10th overall.
