Webster Steps Down as Head Coach at Dominican U. (CA)

San Rafael, Calif. - Dominican University of California Director of Athletics Brandon Leimbach announced Monday, May 5 that Ned Webster has resigned as head men's lacrosse coach to pursue other coaching opportunities.

Webster was hired in 2005 as the second head coach in the program's history. He concluded his ninth season as the Penguins' head coach with a 9-3 win-loss record in 2014, including the program's second WILA championship, and a 35-40 overall win-loss record. Dominican was 33-23 in NCAA Division II play during his tenure.

"I want to thank Coach Webster for his dedication to Dominican lacrosse over the past nine years," said Leimbach. "I appreciate those efforts and wish Ned and his family my best."
