University of Redlands' historic campaign came to an end on Saturday when it traveled to top-ranked Cortland and fell to the undefeated Red Dragons in the third round of the NCAA Division III Championships, 3-19. While advancing to the third round of the NCAAs for the first time in program history, the Bulldogs could not overcome an early deficit, ultimately resulting in the tough defeat.

Despite Cortland taking a quick 2-0 advantage, Redlands halved the deficit when senior midfielder Jacky Craycraft (Trabuco Canyon, CA) found the back of the net for the Maroon and Gray.

The Red Dragons (21-0) then gained control of the play and the momentum shifted into the home side's favor when Cortland scored 11-consecutive goals to take a 13-1 advantage into the halftime break.
