Scholastic Champions Crowned at Lake Placid Summit Classic

LAKE PLACID, N.Y. - The scholastic champions across seven different divisions were crowned Wednesday at the 25th annual Lake Placid Summit Lacrosse Classic, benefitting the Wounded Warrior Project.

In one of the most competitive games of the afternoon, the 3d New England College Prep team outlasted the Baltimore Crabs 9-7, with defender Erik Persky (New Canaan, Conn./University of Pennsylvania) earning MVP honors.

Another high profile match-up saw the FCA National Team down the SweetLax national squad 12-8. Drew Supinski (Haverford School, Pa./Johns Hopkins) was named FCA's MVP after scoring two goals in the final.
