Westminster Announces Incoming Recruiting Class of 2018

SALT LAKE CITY Westminster is set to welcome 13 student-athletes for the 2014-2015 academic year.

The class of the 2018 features one All-American, six multi-year team captains, five state champions, six all-state honorees, eleven all-conference performers, four multi-sport athletes, five scholar-athlete award recipients and a total of eleven earned academic honors during their high school careers.

Noah Blumenfeld Three-year varsity member and multi-year starter for Coach Mike Mathai's Knights ... senior captain in 2014 ... helped lead his team to the San Diego CIF Avocado League Championship as a junior in 2013 ... second team San Diego CIF All-Avocado League in 2014 as a senior ... two varsity letters as a member of the water polo team as a sophomore and junior in 2012 and 2013 ... played for Ken Miller and the Long Island Sting as a starter for the Sting Black Team ... son of Greg and Renee Blumenfeld ... intended major is undecided.

Blake Bruner Four-year varsity member and multi-year starter for Coach Pat Tierney's Mustangs ... two-time team captain ... helped lead his team to a 4A State Championship in 2014 ... score over 90 points in 2014 ... the all-time leading scorer at Ponderosa High School with over 200 career points ... first team all-state ... three-time first team all-conference Pike Peak 4A ... son of Bradford and Susan Bruner ... intended major is Communications.

Christian Camp Three-year letter winner and member of Coach Zack Burke's Poway Titans ... team leader in goals in 2011 ... scholar-athlete award recipient in 2012 and 2013 ... member of the National Society of High School Scholars ... played club lacrosse with the RC Starz, Quad City Starz and the American Revolution ... has a twin sister named Kyleigh ... son of Patrick and Jody Camp ... intended major is Pre-Dental.
