Marquette Announces 2014-2015 Lacrosse Recruit Signees

MILWAUKEE Marquette University has signed 10 players in its 2014 signing class, head coach Meredith Black announced Friday.

All 10 student-athletes will arrive on campus this fall and have four years of eligibility remaining with the Golden Eagles.

"I know we have a great group of incoming freshman coming in and I am very anxious to get a chance to work with them all full time," Black said. "This class was recruited with the understanding that they can come in and contribute right away if they put in the work."

The group includes three student-athletes from Illinois, two from Illinois in addition to one each from California, New York, New Jersey, Missouri and Virginia.

"This class is going to help our team improve and what I like about them is that they all bring unique aspects to the game," Black said. "We have a couple of strong hustlers, some really nice skill on attack, a draw threat and very savvy defenders. This class has it all and I know they will help us take our team in the right direction."
