Australia 16, England 3

Brendan Mundorf scored four times and Nathan Stiglich and Kim Delfs added three as the Australians improved to 2-1 with a 16-3 win over England.

Aussie goaltender Scott Garnsworthy was terrific in goal, making 11 saves on 14 shots. David Whiteman added two goals for Australia, while Wes Green, David Nicholas, Josh Ardossi and Peter Inge. England had two goals from Peter LeSueur and a single from David Bryant.

Iroquois 13, Japan 11

Paced by six unanswered goals in the fourth quarter, the Iroquois Nation came from behind to defeat a resilient Japanese team, 13-11 in the final game of the night.

This was a thrilling game with fans from both teams actively involved in the game.

Delby Powless of Ohsweken, Ont., led the Iroquois with four goals, while Brett Bucktooth of Onondaga, N.Y., added a pair. Neal Powless tallied a goal and three assists. For Japan, Naoki Oyoshi and Yoshiro Suzumura scored twice each. Goalies Takahiko Shinohara and Kazuhiko Udagawa were spectacular for much of the game.

The Iroquois move to 2-1 in a tie with Canada and Australia for second place while Japan falls to 0-3.
