Dominican Suffers 11-6 Loss at Home to Westminster
San Rafael Calif. — Sophomore middies Kevin Katerndahl and Brian Rossetti each had two goals in an 11-6 loss at home to Westminster College on Thursday afternoon.
Rossetti also had two assists in the loss for the Penguins, who drop to 3-2. Freshmen middie-attackmen Lawrence Nardi and David Palacios each tallied a goal and an assist to round out the Penguins' scoring.
Junior middie James Brand had three goals and three assists to lift Westminster to 7-1. Freshman attackman JT Nebecker added three goals of his own.
Dominican led 2-1 at the first quarter and 4-3 by halftime. Westminster scored five unanswered goals in the third quarter to take an 8-4 lead.
The Penguins will face the Cal Bears tomorrow in Berkeley. Face-off begins at 7:00 p.m. at Maxwell Family Field.
