SAINT LEO, FL -- Junior Kurt Green (San Diego, CA) scored three goals and added three assists to help lead Catawba past Notre Dame de Namur 9-7 in men's lacrosse action on Monday night at University Field on the campus of Saint Leo University. The Catawba Indians even its mark at 2-2, while the Argos fall to 5-2.

After the teams battled to a 1-1 tie through a quarter, Catawba used a strong second quarter to take control. The Indians outscored NDNU 5-1 to go on top 6-2 at the break. The Argos cut the deficit to 8-6 after three quarters, but Catawba held on for the win.

Nick Desper (Carrboro, NC) had two goals for Catawba with Mike Dolesh (Aquasco, MD) adding a goal and an assists. Ben Huber (Westminster, MD) had 14 saves in goal for the Indians. Justin Der (Calgary, Alberta, CANADA) led the Argos with three goals, while Tim Campeau (Coquitlam, BC, CANADA) and Mark Scherman (Calgary, Alberta, CANADA) each had two goals.
