Dominican's Offense Explodes Against Cal Lutheran
Thousand Oaks, Calif. - Sophomore attackman-middie Kevin Katerndahl's nine points led Dominican University of California to an 18-4 win over host Cal Lutheran in an NAIA vs. club lacrosse non-league game Friday.
Katerndahl netted three goals and dished out six assists in the Penguins' (5-3) second straight win. Freshman attackman-middie David Palacios scored four times and had two assists while freshman attackman-middie Lawrence Nardi and junior attackman-middie Justin Jarvis each chipped in two goals and an assist.
Sophomore attackmen-middies Brian Rossetti and Alex Choquette added five goals and two goals, respectively. Freshman attackman-middie Joey Sullivan had an assist and freshman goalie Daniel Duong was solid in goal with ten assists.
The Kingsmen extended their season-long losing streak to seven.
Dominican travels to UCLA tomorrow. Face-off is set for 1:00 p.m.
