Franklin & Marshall 15, Hamilton 11

WELLINGTON, Fla. -- Liz Longley '07 and Nicole Tetreault '08 registered two goals and one assist apiece, but nationally ranked No. 16 Hamilton College lost 15-11 against Franklin & Marshall College in a non-league game played in Wellington, Fla., on March 13.

Hamilton (0-1 overall) led 9-8 at the half. Nationally ranked No. 7 Franklin & Marshall (4-0) came from behind as it scored seven goals to the Continentals' two in the final 30 minutes.

Longley -- a second team All-American in 2006 -- is fifth on Hamilton's all-time list with 57 assists. Tetreault played her first game since the 2005 season. Suzy Belmont '07 and Inga Stots '07 chipped in two goals apiece. Liz Benjamin '09, Kate Marek '09 and Jen McGowan '08 scored one goal each.

Kaillie Briscoe '09, who recorded 69 points last year as a rookie, was credited with three assists. Kalley Greer '07 made 16 saves in goal for the Continentals.

The Florida schedule doesn't get any easier for Hamilton. The Continentals take on No. 4 Bowdoin College in Wellington on Thursday, March 15, at 9:00 a.m.
