No. 12 Trinity (CT) Cruises by Goucher in Florida, 15-5
Wellington, Fla. – Junior attacker C.J. Yanofsky (Needham, Mass.) tallied six goals and three assists to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 15-5 win over the Goucher College Gophers in women's lacrosse action this morning.
Trinity, ranked No. 12 in the nation in the IWLCA poll, improves to 4-0, while the Gophers drop to 3-4.
Bantam freshman attacker Jenn Calver (Barnard, Vt.) added four goal, while sophomore midfielder Alison Holmes (Gates Mills, Ohio) and freshman midfielder Sarah Remes (Silver Spring, Md.) added a goal and an assist apiece.
Junior goalie Michelle Smith (Wayland, Mass.) made 15 saves for the Bantams, which outshot Goucher, 37-20.
