Dukes Win Big Over Howard, 18-4
Washington, DC - Kathleen McNish and Courtney Tamasitis scored four goals apiece as Duquesne (4-3) triumphed over Howard 18-4 Saturday afternoon.
Caitlin Carducci made four saves as she held the Bison (1-4) scoreless in the first period. Meghan Holleran finished the game as she stopped five Howard shots.
McNish added three helpers as her game-high seven points gives her 38 on the season. Meg Cloutman notched a hat trick and an assist, Meghan Frederick had two goals and two assists while current Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week Sarah Cates had a pair of goals for the Red & Blue.
The Dukes' bench added three goals: Chelsea Hopkins and Caitlin Kilty scored their first of the season and Sarah Carson added her fourth.
The Dukes return to Rooney Field on Friday March 20 to face Denver. Game time is 3:30 pm.
