SANFORD, Fla. – Junior midfielder Jon Hayes (Waltham, MA) scored three goals and junior attacker Bryan Cofrin (Londonderry, NH) added two goals and an assist to lead No. 16 Western New England College to a 13-3 victory over MIT in the Pilgrim League opener for both teams Saturday night (Mar. 24) at the Sylvan Lake Complex.

Junior midfielder Mike Kelly (Cheshire, CT) contributed a goal and two assists while senior midfielder Brian Praetorius (Saugerties, NY) had a goal and assist for the Golden Bears who improved their record to 5-0.

MIT (0-3) received a pair of goals from senior attacker Tyler Sorba.
