Nine Score in Gators Shutout of Trinity (DC)

BALTIMORE Nine College of Notre Dame of Maryland women's lacrosse players scored, as the Gators shutout Trinity University, 16-0, Monday afternoon in an Atlantic Women's Colleges Conference game.

Freshman attacker Lauren Terry (Towson, Md./The Catholic High School of Baltimore) led the Gators (6-1 overall, 1-0 AWCC) with three goals.

Senior midfielder Tina Money (Shady Side, Md./Queen Anne's County High School) scored a goal and had a career-high four assists to go with six ground balls, four draw controls and four caused turnovers.

Junior midfielder Anne Shippen (Mount Airy, Md./Glenelg Country Day School) added two goals and two assists for Notre Dame. She also contributed five ground balls, four draw controls and four caused turnovers.

The Gators held Trinity (0-5, 0-2 AWCC) to only two shots.

Notre Dame hits the road for a non-conference game on Wednesday, April 4, 2007, against Shenandoah University at 4:00 p.m.
