Red Devils Dominant in 19-1 Win

(Carlisle, PA)- The #20-ranked Dickinson College women's lacrosse team scored just 38 seconds into the game, dominating Bryn Mawr in a 19-1 Centennial Conference win on Saturday. Despite low temperatures, the Red Devils proved to be red hot, scoring 13 first half goals. First-year Clarissa Moorhead (Washington, DC/Bullis) led the charge, scoring a career and game-high four goals.

Overall, 12 different players tallied goal for the Devils. Four players struck twice, including senior Laura Williams (Chestertown, MD/Gunston Day) who also controlled a game-high four draws. Senior Lizze Skolnik (Great Falls, VA/Langley) tallied a pair of goals and assisted a third in the first half. Classmate Katie Austin (Warwick, RI/The Wheeler School) and sophomore Ana Sokol (Colts Neck, NJ/Peddie) each scored twice as well.

Goaltenders Gabby Joffie (Jamiaca, NY/Mercersburg Academy) and Caitlin Kingsley (Ridgefield, CT/Ridgefied) combined for seven saves in the cage for Dickinson. Moriah Scott scored off an assist from Georgia Lawrence to put Bryn Mawr on the board with 18:33 remaining in the game.

The Red Devils improve to 7-4 overall and 4-1 in the Centennial Conference. They host #2-ranked Franklin & Marshall on Wednesday at 5:00 pm.
