“It feels good to get a conference win,” said Vermont head coach Jen Johnson. “We had some pretty goals today and I was proud of the way the team battled through the sloppy conditions to fight for loose balls. We played with a consistent effort throughout the game and were able to hold our ground as Binghamton tried to make its runs.”
“I also want to congratulate Kristen and Becky for reaching the 100-point milestone. It’s a great achievement for Becky and I hope she will carry the momentum from today’s game into the final four regular season contests. For Kristen to reach 100 points in her sophomore year with four regular season games left is a tremendous achievement.”

The Catamounts out scored Binghamton 5-3 the rest of the half and took an 8-4 lead into halftime.
