WATERVILLE, Maine -- Colby College All-Americans Allie Libby (Needham, Mass.) and Kate Sheridan (Hingham, Mass.) each had four goals to power the 15th-ranked Mules to a 19-9 win over Connecticut College in New England Small College Athletic Conference women's lacrosse Saturday at Bill Alfond Field.

Libby also had four assists and Sheridan finished with three assists. Sheridan, who is just a sophomore, went over 100 career points and now has 75 goals and 26 assists for 101 points in less than two years of play with the Mules.

Colby improves to 8-4 overall and 3-4 in the NESCAC, while the Camels fall to 3-8 and 0-6 in the conference.

Connecticut College darted out to a 4-2 lead in the first eight minutes of the game, but Colby went on a 10-0 scoring run to take command and go into halftime with a 12-6 lead.

Becky Julian (South Windsor, Conn.) added three goals and one assist, while Libba Cox (Guilford, Conn.) had four assists. Courtney Drake (Falmouth, Maine) and Carrie Lovejoy (Old Greenwich, Conn.) both had three goals for the Mules. Ashley Faber (Cohasset, Mass.) paced the Camels with five goals. Sarah Miner (Fairfield, Conn.) and Lindsey Coit (South Portland, Maine) both had one goal and two assists.

Camel goalie Jenna Ross (Longmeadow, Mass.) was sharp with 29 saves. Colby goalies Catharine O'Brien (Reading, Vt.) and Keryn Meierdiercks (Oyster Bay, N.Y.) combined for eight saves.
