EASTON, Mass.-- Hat tricks off the sticks of junior All-America Kristin Darrell (West Islip, N.Y.), sophomore Kristyn Gramzow (Billerica, Mass.) and freshman Liza Gross (Loudonville, N.Y.) propelled third-ranked Stonehill to its 67th straight Northeast-10 Conference women's lacrosse victory and the program's seventh all-time shutout with a 19-0 league triumph over American International Tuesday afternoon at W.B. Mason Stadium.
The host Skyhawks (15-0, 9-0 Northeast-10), now 79-1 all-time in conference play, raced out to a 12-0 advantage at the break and received goals from 10 different players en route to their second shutout of the season, as Darrell and Gramzow each added an assist to finish with four points for the winners. Senior Tracey Hoffman (Nashua, N.H.) and sophomore Mary Maloney (Great River, N.Y.) chipped in with a pair of goals and three assists for five points each for Stonehill, which also received a goal and three assists from sophomore Michelle Kelly (Mendham, N.J.).
